Raiffeisen Bank International is using the EQRE Blue index for the first time

Raiffeisen Bank now refers to the EQRE Blue index, which was first mentioned in the May issue of GIS Press.

Raiffeisen Bank has more than a century of history and its credit quality and reliability have been confirmed by international rating agencies. Raiffeisen Bank Group owns subsidiary banks in 16 Eastern European countries and is the largest banking group in Austria, where it is headquartered.

Alkes Research calculates the EQRE Blue index, which is already widely used by other market participants - brokers, information agencies, including bne IntelliNews.

EQRE Blue index is a benchmark of the stock market of Uzbekistan, currently it includes 7 most liquid shares listed on Tashkent Stock Exchange. Such a limited number of components allows for the most accurate representation of the market situation, as the majority of shares traded on the market are illiquid.

Raiffeisen Bank's use of EQRE Blue index will allow attracting interest to the capital market and economy of Uzbekistan, as well as will provide the financial institution with access to the most reliable information about the state of the market.
